Espionage
The Espionage unit provides an opportunity for students to think critically, problem solve, and examine cause and effect relationships. During the unit, students learn motives, types of spies and agencies, spy vocabulary, and spies in history. Students learn various secret codes and ciphers, and upon completion of training, they become "spies". During a simulation, students apply encoding and decoding skills as part of a secret operation. Students use critical thinking and problem solving skills to gather, interpret, encode and decode messages in order to compete various missions.
