ENd of the year Information
Hello,
Please find end of the year information below. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great weekend and a fabulous summer!
LAST DAY OF ALERT Due to the activities that take place in their regular classrooms during the last week of school, we will not have ALERT that week. Therefore, next week will be the last week of ALERT this year.
We will be having end of the year celebrations. Some of the classes have decided on a party theme and would like to bring food. A list of snacks will be emailed to you.
I have really enjoyed getting to know the 5th grade students this year and am looking forward to another great year next year. I will greatly miss my 6th grade friends. We have had fun, worked hard, built relationships, overcome obstacles, accepted challenges, and accomplished much over the last two years.
I have added pictures and videos of the activities and memories of both 5th and 6th grade the the Student Projects pages of the website.
CLASS BUSINESSES The 5th and 6th grade business owners will closing their stores for the summer. They will be having an End of the Year Sale offering 50% off everything.
They have been very successful young entrepreneurs this year. Charmed has made a profit of over $500.00 and will be donating $250.00 to Isabel’s House and $250.00 to The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri. Cutting Edge Kids will be donating their profits of $1,100 to Isabel’s House. They are really excited to give back to the community. We have been awarded the grant again next year, so we will reopen in August!
ALERT SUMMER SCHOOL - Current 5th grade ALERT students have the option of attending ALERT Summer School this summer. If your child is interested in attending, you can sign-up here.

PARENT GROUP
There have been several parents who have shown an interest in starting a parent group. We held an initial meeting this week where parents discussed the structure and direction of the group. If you are interested in participating and/or would like a leadership role in establishing the group, please contact me.
